Ivermectin is only microfilaridicidal and even multiple courses of treatment will not achieve cure of L.loa infection.

Congrats to this publication. Just a few thoughts from my side:
Occult loiasis can solely be diagnosed by using the RAPLOA test. Often peripheral microfilaremia is lacking. Serological testing is unspecific.
