There was a “Beverly Hillbillies” episode where Granny had the “cure for the common cold” and everyone was excited. She had some backwoods concoction that cured it in 10 to 14 days!!

I have Fibromyalgia. There are people say they “cured their Fibromyalgia with Vitamin D!!”. Then they didn’t have Fibromyalgia. They had a Vitamin D deficiency. Dummy.

I worked with a guy that had polio. He was in a wheelchair and couldn’t walk or care for himself. That was in 1987.
