As for what our first project is going to be, I'm not entirely sure as of now. Including Me is still on pause, due to it being an absolutely MASSIVE undertaking, but that game won't be cancelled until the whole damn studio shuts down.

- Provided we're able to find a sprite artist within Q1, I'm estimating we can finish the Area 1 Demo by Q4 at ABSOLUTE latest.
- From there, we may launch a crowdfunding campaign - the money raised from this will help to properly spin up the business side of things and accelerate development.

personally I don't think so, not unless they're gigantic "betas" that are honestly just full games in and of themselves, a la Multiversus. Get a few friends to test your game to start, build a community and onboard more testers as development progresses, and release when it's ready :)

To those out of the loop: Unity is now charging devs for INSTALLING GAMES MADE IN THE ENGINE. And this includes reinstalls. And this includes installs on other devices. And this (likely) includes piracy.
Imagine being so fucking greedy that you'd actively bankrupt indie devs just for an extra buck.
