The information in that video is very dated. They did that video during the dark "bad days" of EA's network woes. In the last two years, I've never had an issue finding a working charger, and the data backs that up. The reliability of fast chargers is very decent now.

Almost two years into EV ownership, and I'm still driving every day on a 1 kw home charger. Unless your commute is more than 100 miles/day, I fail to see how a 20A/240V circuit isn't sufficient for regular home charging.
