There is zero reason to have 12noon at any other time than when the sun is highest in the sky. Standard time should be all year long. Somehow it works for most of Arizona.
There is no such thing as saved daylight.

Several years ago we built an exhibit for the new wing of the Adventure Science Center in Nashville TN that has this constellation (along with Orion and the Big Dipper) hung in a starfield that you can walk around to see exactly this. Proud to have helped design.

The paper seems to confuse gravity with tides. Tides are caused by a difference in gravity across a large body, which humans are not. The pull of the Moon on your head vs feet is trivially small. We don't experience tides.
Light, maybe. But how does this compare with other primates?

And your pinky finger at arm's length will still cover it. You can only see the size difference if you have a mini moon next to it.
Brightness will of course depend on local sky conditions. Glowing giant? The harvest moon isn't always a "supermoon."

I'd be interested to know what effect the primary caregiver - often a spouse - has on outcome. Apart from just care, losing access to transportation for health care other than ambulance, social isolation, etc. Do other medical conditions have similar profiles?
