Where is Lobby? 🦞

I usually can't stand open world games because I'm a big fan of tight level design and linear to semi-linear progression. I feel like the industry is obsessed with the open world trend now, and it's leading to quantity over quality in oversized game worlds saturated with repetitive filler.

HD-2D is gorgeous! It's such a great take on that classic 2D style, and I always loved seeing Pokemon's visuals evolve over Gens 1 - 5! I feel like there's often a stigma when the topic of new 2D Pokémon comes up, like anything less than 3D is a lesser art form.

The lack of music and themes took away from the charm and character of the console and left it feeling a bit sanitary. I suppose you notice stuff like that when you appreciate the little things. I always loved the GameCube's rolling cube intro thing!

Majora's Mask might be the most underrated game in the franchise. Silent Hill 2 and the RE2 remake are definitely my favorites. I started Final Fantasy with XIV, but I want to play the non-MMO ones sometime as well!

I've always been a big fan of Pokémon and Zelda (Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess forever fighting for top spot), but I got into Silent Hill and Resident Evil later, and started playing one of the Final Fantasy games for the first time more recently!
