But that could also get them a better compensation pick in 2027. A catch 22 if you will.

Yep, and Allen was in the latter camp until he exploded in year 3. There was definitely talk about how much more time hed have given he didnt complete more than 60% of his passes, had a 3/2 TD/INT ratio and a total of 5150 yards in his first 27 career starts.

Literally my only active healthy lineup I could play this week.

Raimi cooked and was very in his horror element to the degree Marvel allowed him to do so. Obv the writing was a little rough and you can tell the original script and the rewrites clashed tonally. But Raimi imo KILLED IT with what he was given.

To be fair, 2/3 (24) of his 35 total carries came in 2 games. And the team had 4 games AFTER his "breakout" against Tennessee and had 8 total carries. The current price you have to pay for Bill is risky compared to where it was a week ago. But give me the new face in the room.

3LB canister of my go to at Costco went from $9.99 in 2020 to $21 last month. It was $18 back in May.

I think I agree. You can always go up to that ceiling on Bijan, you arent going to get Nico/London for that cheap in the bidding process.

Hes also in an episode of Community

My concern, as a fan of his and the team, is that he picks up a nagging soft tissue injury that seemingly lingers all year. Not sure if its confirmation bias or what, but seems to happen a lot with hold-outs/ins especially at skill positions.

I think up until about 10 or so years ago it was. I live in the Pittsburgh area and people are still old school in the sense that the players should almost be honored to play for the team. Theres been a shift, and maybe it has to do with Fantasy, of people taking the players side more and more.

Absolutely not. Players are employees and employees deserve to get what they're worth. But I think a lot of the fans WANT him to get his bag BECAUSE of how important hes been over the last 6 years. He was the only light during the dark times.

I also want it to be clear, Im a Washington fan and know how important Terry is to the team and the community. My understanding, via Logan Paulsen, is also that Terrys agent might be a little difficult to work with and may not have prepared Terry where the team would realistically come in.

I think Deebo's cap # would have been larger than Terry's had SF kept him. Deebo's base is $1.5m with a $450k game bonus and Terrys base is $15m with $800k game bonus. Deebo's dead money is higher than Terry because of 4 void years spreading his signing bonus. At least according to OTC.

100% agree. Im always on the players side in terms of $. But this is such a unique situation. Terry is 30 and 2 more years of the tag through age 32. How many more years does he realistically have? Only 8 WR last year were 32 or older. I think its years thats the hangup not $.
July 27, 2025 at 3:23 PM
I think we have 3 parties with 3 different goals that complicates this. 1) The player wants what he deserves. 2) The owner who may or may not want to pay a player what they're worth (Im not sure this is the case here). 3) The GM whos goal is short and long term success (This is the hold up I think)

Deadlines get deals done. Both sides are posturing right now and unless he's not signed at this point next week I'm not worried.

I rented a car to both Jesse McCartney and Martavis Bryant

Hes not entirely wrong but hes still a massive piece of shit like you said. Both things can be true at the same time the Garcia/concentration camp issue AND the trade issue are MASSIVE problems.
