Shoving Age group women into an Open category is so lazy and othering. Elite athletes following science on a case by case basis ✅ but not don’t bothered to consider a real policy for AG athletes. WTCS doesn’t care about AG athletes, but careless since many governing bodies look to them for guidance

WTCS has revised its rules to be more open to trans athletes and review on a case by case basis at the elite level, after confirming there was NOT ONE trans athlete competing. Science! 🧬 #sportisahumanright

The best skill you can develop as a runner is learning to run by feel.

If trained, it’s your most reliable barometer. More than heart rate, pace, vo2, etc.

Learn to listen to and distinguish the signals.

“I’m sick, should I still do my workout?” Coaches say: it depends! Low to moderate intensity boosts your immune system, while endurance work and high intensity suppress it. So, check in with your coach. Maybe don’t do the planned workout, but do something. OR REST 🙃

Reminder that it is STILL time to put on your own oxygen mask first. Sleep, eat good foods, move your body, surround yourself with your community. Help each other. WE GOT THIS. Anything is still possible - together.
