The Free State distillery/brewery tours are always better than Norn ones!!

Fast forward to the 2010s, the Bushmills tour is so boring that Sunday School classes visit it and not be in danger of an “occasion of sin”!

The Guinness tour has not suffered nearly as much from H&S as the Bushmills Distillery tour! I first saw Guinness as a 12yo on an “Educational Tour”. We were up in the mash tuns and all! In 1989 toured the still floor at Bushmills. My wife had to stick her head out a window to escape the EtOH fumes!

Maryland is a “jumbo shrimp”, but with a population less than either NYC or Los Angeles. It is #18 in population, larger than 32 other states and the District of Columbia. That being said, it has NO special interests over a New York or a California.

Thanks for this. As a grad student in 1981, I had the privilege of meeting 2 Nobelists: Watson and Han Krebs (shortly before he died). While I was impressed by the myth around Watson he came across as egotistical. Krebs, on the other hand, was humble and inspirational to us young wannabe scientists

What will you think when the sunrise is as late as 8 AM in Detroit in December under permanent DST and kids are going to school in the dark? Day lengths in late December-early January are fixed at ~9 hours under either regime!

A retired colleague told me that its more accurate name is Medicare Disadvantage! Stay away from it!

That was the America to which I immigrated. Sure, Reagan was president but he believed in the positive role immigration played in the US.

“Here's looking at you, kid!”

Keeping with Razorbills and Rob’s theme of #CloseUps for #BirdOfTheDay

#BirdOfTheDay theme is any bird perched on a #Rock. I think that this image fits this (Razor)bill!
