Writing is my superpower and I try to use it for good. I'm working on coming out of the closet about it, starting with this profile. I would love to connect with more readers, writers, musicians, artists, dancers and interesting people with lots to say.

I just joined a new book club, we read the Women by Kristin Hannah, it was so good!! I can't even count how many times I cried while reading it. We met at a Vietnamese restaurant to talk about the book, it was like a wonderful dream...

I'm in Tucson and it's now tomorrow but the highlight of my day yesterday was getting to watch my son Benny horse ride, which also meant visiting this miniature horse who is a companion horse for an anxious big horse named Tobey who can't go anywhere without her. Sometimes a friend is all we need.

Anybody else get to the canned goods and just feel like you canned do it? Like maybe those groceries are just fine sitting on the floor there for the next year or so.

Sitting on my porch drinking tea and reading a David Sedaris book checked out from the library is a great way to start the day.

Last night I waited for half an hour at Home Depot to get a hot water heater unlocked. Three people came and said they would be back and never returned. Finally these two guys figured it out. Heroes!
