@commonwealthfund.bsky.social released an issue brief (bit.ly/Shorttermcuts) a few years ago about the hazardous long-term effects from short-term cuts to Medicaid coverage for pregnant people and children. Medicaid is critical for multi generational benefits to health and educational attainment.
