My mildest GoT take is that the show poorly executed Martin's endgame. Which, Martin himself has yet to actually prove he has cracked!

I also think Benioff/Weiss should have taken their burnout as a sign to promote Cogman to showrunner and stay on as execs rather than reduce the episode count.

Wife and I got ripped on edibles and did the last two episodes of season two and FWWM the last two nights. The Return is on deck.

Such an incredible work.

The eternal questions: will my liver process the THC faster than the Olestra makes me explosively shit it out.

I've ordered direct from Arrow a few times and never had any issues.

The Corridor Crew recently looked at how they managed to do the FX without the usual dupe layer appearance and it was fascinating the solution they cans to.

The (not great but solid) Dwayne Johnson movie Faster has a genuinely great scene of this at the end.

She was already in an episode of Billions which, hindsight, was probably a dry run. 🤢

Just reread it via Danny Campbell's audio narration. Terrific performance of a modern masterpiece.

I remember Grem Greemwald posting an email to his editor that was just, "Stet all changes."

Which scans. It's the ones who need it most who fight it hardest.

I can't imagine having Fuck You Money and doing anything other than traveling extensively, reading with all that free time and learning new hobbies. Hollow men.

I saw Munich twice in theaters and both times the phone call sequence was pin drop silent. Even for Spielberg, the camerawork in Munich is S tier.

OBAA really got this right. Looked like a legit school dance.

He never makes the case for The Monster as either a creature of pathos or romance. It seemed like it assumed we'd care about the creature and understand that Goth would instantly fall for it.

Classic dream project problem. Individual pieces are massively overthought, total project is underbaked.

Reminds me of the legend of his Mountains of Madness script as this great unmade project. Maybe it was/is but that the script I read online is really loose and large chunks of it are actually Call of Cthulu. It's a take but it's not literal.

I saw it at an early screening with Goddard in attendance. During the Q&A he mentioned they did a bunch of alt takes for that reaction, including an enthusiastic thumbs up while being mauled.
