As I walked to CUNY Central on Friday, I paused to reflect. I’ve been accepted to the CUNY Faculty Fellowship Publication Program—a program those I admire most at Medgar Evers College speak highly of & one I trust will encourage me to always remember to write in community & w community in mind.

Maybe getting that fellowship to turn your dissertation into a book means you gotta revisit both ramblings of your defense and what your 12 year old self was watching, deeply researching, and using to guide you through some pretty big decisions. #foreverfan #northernexposure
