What an amazing woman. I remember being absolutely struck by the plaque at the National Cathedral for Matthew Shepard. So many emotions poured from me. People like her give people like me hope.

I feel like post # 1 should be true to my description. I strive for joy. Today, I wake up happy (and exhausted from middle school band directing) to share weekly coffee with peers that lift me up. Finding joy is sometimes about planning it… when you know you just might need it.
