I really miss the days when the Derby commentators got progressively shit faced during the broadcast.

At the liquor store today my wife, buying whiskey as a gift, states "She likes whiskey, but not bourbon."

My brain exploded on the spot.

Waking up this morning with my lower back in excruciating pain was not on my to do list. Been popping Advil and resting on the couch. At least I have lots of basketball to watch and a dog crawling all over me.

Had an in-house firm happy hour tonight. Lots of fun. Gave newbies their first taste of real moonshine, taught folks how to make Negronis, and had lots of laughs.
