Just watched @hankgreen.bsky.social latest video youtu.be/39YO-0HBKtA?.... Would a less cynical take be that disincentives for natural gas and renewables could stimulate new nuclear power designs and construction? We’ve already seen data center companies looking to nuclear to power new data centers.

Just Wanted to add that I agree. This show sucked me in from the start. Sterling K Brown is excellent as always. Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, and James Marsden bring strong performances of interesting characters. Can’t wait to watch the story unfold.
Ugh! Only 3 episodes available and I’m already addicted. I love seeing my neighbor James Marsden in this role. All the acting is amazing. Great cast. Great concept. My only regret is not waiting to start until I could binge the whole season. #paradise

Saw One Of Them Days last night and The Brutalist tonight. One Of Them Days was entertaining and funny. An excellent change of pace from many of the movies we’ve seen recently. I also liked The Brutalist. Interesting and thought provoking whose Jewish perspective gave an instant connection. See both

Saw Better Man yesterday with my movie aficionado wife, @laineymelnick.bsky.social. K”we knew nothing about Robbie Williams. The anthropomorphic chimpanzee portrayal just works. It fades into the background and is sometimes a useful device. Entertaining and empathetic. Recommended.

Visited the Lanai Cat Sanctuary today. So many sweet kitties. Some just wanted to chill by themselves while others climbed into your lap for cuddles.

An interesting look at someone who was already a legend by the time I entered the timeline. I’m glad he didn’t go through a synth pop phase in the 80s.
What a fabulous film! Such an icon and so incredibly well acted all around. Use of music is incredible, the scene where he is walking down the street in 1965 with the different music as he walks is masterful. Acting and writing, directing, love it. Love the Joan Baez relationship. #ACompleteUnknown

Finished season 2 of Shrinking. Really enjoyed it. Great writing and characters performed by an excellent cast. Humor, heart and feels that reinforces mental health is health.

Finished binging all three seasons of Mayor of Kingstown where the plot seemed to be, “You think things are bad now? They can get worse.” Depressing story with excellent acting. Just a dark and gritty narrative that will leave you asking “What was that?” and “When is the next season?”

Rather than Hallmark holiday movies, my holiday shows of choice are baking shows of which the The Great British Baking Show is the undisputed king of baking shows. Thank you GBBS for providing some comfort as I doom scroll.

Happy anniversary to my amazing wife @laineymelnick.bsky.social. Together for 29 years. Married for 27. We met over the Internet before it was cool when I saw a video she posted on the Internet dating site she created back in 1995. I am a very lucky man.
