I’m getting over pneumonia so I’ll be home, but the turkey we smoked is carved, drizzled with broth, and wrapped for reheating at our daughter’s house tomorrow. Attached is a pic of the broth made from the turkey carcass. It’s pretty yummy!

My mom never did but my mother in law cooked them, chopped them, and added them to the gravy with chopped hard-boiled eggs. While I prefer “lump free” gravy, hers was tasty and I do use them for flavoring the broth!

No, they will be ready for employment in the agricultural industry. You know, working the fields, singing hymns, etc. Sounds like a good plan for all their little white boys!
