And I like how the narrative lets them be who they are and not sway you into who you’re supposed to like or dislike unfortunately they still do use the Madonna whore complex and there is sexism and homophobia but it’s put in to show how it affects the characters lives and opinions

What makes the wolf so scary isn’t that he uses a disguise but how friendly and manipulative he is towards red
in the beginning he comes as himself only after he’s found out does he show his true intentions
