I suspect there is a kind of power for him in this. I met him once and he is so full of himself. I think his narcissism drives him to want to be exceptional to know/find something that no one else does (especially coming from that family). And now, there’s no way to turn back.

We bought one years ago at a vintage store in the west village. It’s a hall table size/shape that opens to square and then has 3 leaves. Can’t tell at first glance. The guy in the store said as soon as he gets them in, they always sell immediately. Have a local shop that could keep an eye out?

She certainly appreciates their support! The organization went from making a few hundred thousand dollars to millions with him on the board!

I think she just didn’t want to have to move back to New York

Also, regardless of his excuse, he must have known of the possibility of pictures of the event, and failed to disclose that when he wrote a column telling us all to move on from Epstein.

Frankly he’s more than “an embarrassment”. He’s dangerous

And Plowie McPlowface!

Yes, just realized there’s that too. That’s also on the east side of the park further south at the base of lookout hill.

It’s a small plaque on a rock next to the main drive on the east side of the park. It’s on the left-hand side just before GAP if you’re coming up the hill from the carousel.

I was originally so mad at VF for hiring her, but now so happy I got this morning of amusement before I cancel my subscription.

The dogs are alright!

No…they didn’t, did they?

They also might group together multiple things, for example by saying “how would you rate Trump’s performance on each of the following campaign issues?” And then simply reading the list. Really hard to get an accurate and nuanced read. IMO, a useless data point

Also, sometimes ridiculous things come out — I once promised Gillibrand I would primary her myself!!

Was able to leave voicemails for both Schumer and Gillibrand on their DC numbers

“Could be anything” - supply chain issues, materials, labor cost overruns…

You from out of town?

Polling is so woefully inadequate for truly understanding voters’ knowledge and mindsets. Case in point - many polls ask whether people are liberal or conservative but fail to dig into respondents’ understanding of those terms. Would need a good qualitative study!

Remember a few weeks ago when he “disappeared” for a couple of days? Good times

Don’t forget the both-sides framing!

That is a very big shoulder chip on mouth breathing. Honestly, I’m really curious about the origin story of that chip.

But what does that even mean? Will my ticket price be doubled?

Also, it’s not necessarily “anecdotal” — quantitative data supports info on their media diets (especially young men), and I don’t know how they recruited for these groups but have no reason to think it’s not a representative sample.

I agree! But apparently em dashes are overused by ChatGPT — at least that’s what I’ve heard — so no one believes we’re doing our own writing.
