I really wish aphantasia+ was talked about more bc it was actually kind of devastating to find out everyone else could do this thing that I simply can't
Yeah! I think I might be hypophantasic. I can pretty much only visualize things I’ve actually seen, but not very clearly, and I can’t hold onto the images for very long.
But I think in words, so the upside is I have a good ear for dialogue and tone. It’s why I love doing audiobooks and VO!

I have aphantasia so I have no internal visual at all, makes reading a huge ball-ache. Have you encountered the term before? Curious to know what ‘not very visual’ means for your personal experience.
