Well it is if people don’t change their spending habits.

If you throw a ball straight up on a moving train, does it land at the point where you throw it…

Not quite as simple as that as if you are moving forward and you are passing backward the ball can land forward of where it was passed back, legitimately.

And only 4 behind Liverpool’s ‘amazing’ season.

It is frankly incredible that social media companies are not obliged to crack down on this vile abuse. What sort of follow up exists for people who write this stuff?

Maybe. 49 shots this week. Xg over 8. 1 goal from a defender.

Yeah he’s got the best penalty record in squad. But terrible miss v Newcastle and two terrible misses today. Already low on confidence. I’d have just taken him out firing line.

Which is why I wouldn’t have put him up for a penalty today. He’s already missing sitters and in poor form. Take him out of the firing line. I’d actually start Trossard in the middle v Spurs.

The great Robert Skidelsky. Probably the best lecturer/tutor I had back in the day. Inspiring. Was having a chat with him in his office c 1991…he was looking for a book when phone went and he asked me to get it. It was David Owen for him!

But you have to take a risk on some of these attacking players otherwise you have to spend £100m plus. We haven’t taken a risk on anyone in attack/attacking midfield since fingers burnt with Pepe.

Agree. Stock slightly diminishing and unlikely to improve. Should not be offering more than a year so pleased to read that if true.
