Interesting 👍 In 1941, DK’s first X-ray bus. 1946, first TB mass screening in Copenhagen, 60% of the pop. screened, causing peak in incidence. 1950 -1952, screening in rest of DK, evident in the TB stat. Following this success, dispensaries cont. annual screenings of 1 million people 1950s -1960s

(A) #nontuberculous #mycobacteria by disease #localization and (B) #pulmonary only (B). IRs for positive NTM culture increased (0.8%/year; p<0.001), driven mainly by pulmonary NTM (2.3%/year; p<0.001), whereas extrapulmonary (−1.7%/year; p<0.001) and disseminated NTM (−9.5%/year; p<0.001) decreased

#NTM #Disease by #species. Nos. and % patients with A) definite disease; B) definite and possible disease combined by species. M. #malmoense (55%), M. #kansasii (46%), and #MAC (36%) were most often associated with definite pulmonary NTM disease. Details in article.
