Really interesting weather dynamic in this town. This red blue line pretty close to marks the temperature divide. On the south side of the line it can get up to 5 degrees warmer in the summer and up to 5 cooler in the winter. Most times it’s a 1 degree temperature difference.

This picture will give you some idea if you zoom and look around a little. You can see the airstrip runway on the left side. We’re not very far from actual sea level at any house in town.

No worries at all. I’d say we’re almost exactly the same elevation here at my house as the airport. Not many residences in town more than 50 feet above sea level.

Still accumulating. I have -1 at my house weather reader and zero in my truck so will continue falling for now.

Bit more than expected yup. We never had the rain mix. We’re definitely over 20 now. I cleaned off my truck and drove around awhile and the last 2 hours it’s still accumulating.

I have been keeping track! We should get a great view. I have family with much better tools for recording it so I’ll probably share their images here on Sunday.

I had mine adjusted so that I could just straighten my arms enough to take the strain off.

I broke and displaced my tibia when I was 19 (a million years ago). Spent 4 months on crutches. Not much consolation, but the armpits get better!

No worries. The wind is common here. While I was scrolling last night I seen your post about alt text and it never dawned on me to ever add it. It’s never too late to start! I feel like I’m doing the pic a disservice, so hopefully I’ll improve over time.

Cartwright, Labrador. A wind tunnel masked as a community.

All we had was about 100km/hr winds and drift through the sunshine, but we’re doing better with snow than most of the province so I don’t want to be greedy!

Not sure how much weight I carry here, but yes.

Chasing my friends from site to site so I can rarely post but live vicariously through them still 😬 (Thanks, friend!)
