We protested in our town today. Smaller turnout than 2 weeks ago according to folks there (we were in the air on the 5th) but civic engagement and community support was strong. I heard protests every 2 weeks going forward. If so, we’ll be there!

This baby’s brother went to his forever home today and he’s needing some extra loves while he adjusts. Tomorrow he has a meet & greet and I can’t imagine them not falling in love. Butterscotch is the sweetest.

Thank you so much! Good friends of ours run an animal sanctuary, so we do what we can. We have the space and we have the love and time, so we share. These are the babies we were fostering. 💕

These are our fur babies. We also have 2 dogs and were fostering 2 kittens rescued after Hurricane Helene - they’re in their forever home now, but we’re expecting 2 more this weekend. We live in a zoo! 😻💖 Happy Caturday!

I’m here mostly for independent news, but this is my first post.

We fostered 2 kittens displaced in the aftermath of Helene in WNC. They were with us for 5 weeks. They went to their forever home today & I’m going to miss them. Their new names are Sonny & Cher. Happy Caturday. 💖
