Wouldn't trademark law encourage a greater diversity of characters, and variable length names? For like, helping people distinguish the companies? (half a tongue in a quarter cheek)

My hard hitting question: Are there obscure regulations somewhere forcing advanced geothermal companies like Eavor and Fervo to select from a limited set of letters and use a character limit?
