Could've been a contender. Philly guy living in Princeton, NJ. Too-proud Trenton State College alum. The meritocracy is a sham.
A major overhaul mandated by legislators without additional funding or resources? Sounds like just about K-12 "reform" I witnessed. No doubt it was a huge failure and I feel for the kids and parents affected.

Thanks so much. I don't know what has changed in that corridor since 2020 (or 2010 for that matter), except deterioration of the road surface. Certainly didn't add any cycling infrastructure. In the end, Wig-Ham comes down to removing parking to create bike lanes. So far, that's been a non-starter.

Rather than blaming trans people for the loss — looking at you @moulton.house.gov — it's time for our party to realize that we can reach former/traditional Dems AND defend trans people. We can opt NOT to take the GOP bait on issues like bathrooms and sports and make this a teachable moment.

Here is the Paul Robeson Place-Wiggins-Hamilton Corridor Study, which has recommendations for most intersections between Bayard Lane and Harrison. The municipality knows to make the corridor safer for al; it's just a question of implementation. www.princetonnj.gov/DocumentCent...

I came upon that 12/8 crash while riding on Wiggins; surprised there were no fatalities. Wig/Ham is the major E-W artery for folk who live here, yet it is a mess. There is a plan that wld make the whole corridor safe, but no implantation sked. Parking wld have to be removed;must be the holdup
