Enthusiast.
Yesterday we brought our protest energy to Lexington,MA, where the first shots were fired in the American Revolution. 1 of 3 Massachusetts towns held #NoKings rallies. So proud to be a Bay Stater. I’ve never wanted a tricorn hat more. Peaceful. Powerful. Patriotic.

It’s not lost on me that today we protested #NoKings on the Boston Common, where we’ve been gathering and protesting as a collective for nearly 400 years. The day was a collaboration with Boston Pride, creating an electric atmosphere with several coalitions and collective interests.

Today we exercised our constitutional right to assemble, taking part in one of the 1400+ Hands Off rallies around the world. In Massachusetts, nearly 100 of our 351 cities and towns held protests big and small. Rather than join the 100k+ in Boston, we joined the 300+ on the Natick Common. ✊🏻

I used to play and post a record daily on Twitter. I’m going to start posting them here as I ween off of Elon’s hellscape…. Starting my day with arguably the best mashup album ever. No one does it like Girl Talk. Night Ripper just re-released, so I’m drinking coffee and identifying the 300 samples…

Ooh, @lizmoorebooks.bsky.social … I absolutely devoured this story, and am dreaming of a sequel. Thanks for the week of total escape!

During COVID I picked up a hobby, cross stitching a few of my favorite feminists and women musicians. It kept me off of screens, and I just may need to pick it up again for perhaps the next four years.

Exhaled a bit last weekend in NYC, post-election. Surrounded ourselves with strength, taking in Suffs and the feminist art wing at the Brooklyn Museum. Finally, finally experienced Judy Chicago’s The Dinner Party.
