In this game, death isn't an end - it's a setback. You can move back a space on the Psychic scale and "reload" to the last decision branch.

I like that a lot - it keeps people exploring and eager to get to the rest of the story.

Oh, I do love this. You can revisit paths you chose but the danger is increased. Will you choose to go to the next chapter, possibly underprepared, or do you risk your safety to potentially collect more items and gain an advantage?
