Yea cuz you didn’t get the point the first time. I didn’t vote for him didn’t vote for his party. What’s your point.

I don’t believe they do the US has significantly higher wages than anywhere else in the world. It stands to them that doctors are paid higher than anywhere else in the world. Also, Dr. are sued at higher rate for the same level of compilations. Income has to match expenses.

I do but pass the legislation first. This is privatizing the losses on small companies. Have the federal government pay off the debt against the going late, but don’t require private businesses not able to absorb a loss to take it.
January 7, 2025 at 5:30 PM
Voluntary is one doing a lot of work you cannot legally build a Medicare patient higher than the Medicare allowable rate. Medicare payments have not increased in 10 years that is a massive pay cut for everybody working in healthcare
January 7, 2025 at 5:25 PM
Yes but they are not currently and canceling debt does not help. Small practices already can barely exist this studpidy does not solve and issue. I have no problem with medicare for all I'm saying debt cancellations is bad policy,
January 7, 2025 at 5:14 PM
No, they are paid far under market rates. How dare a highly skilled individual with 4 year Bachlors 4 years doctorate 5 years training 1-5 years of specialization and in charge of cutting you open and saving you life be compensated. They should have gone into investment banking.
January 7, 2025 at 5:10 PM
That's what you saying,by supporting not reporting medical debt. debt for service provided needs to be paid. Medicare is very efficient but it need to pay a fair rate for the service and not expect highly trained people to work for wages which are not completive against other industries.
January 7, 2025 at 5:08 PM
Yea then vote for medicare for all but don't prevent business being paid for services provided. Medicine is a service industry and people need to pay for the care they are provided. First pass medicare for all then stop collecting the debt not the other way around.
January 7, 2025 at 5:05 PM
It does not matter why they have been cut its about they have. These business provide care. But can't collect what they are owed and there payments have not kept up with inflation. Can cut forever before these small business just wont exist.
January 7, 2025 at 5:03 PM
Sure but stoping the ability to collect an outstanding balance does not allow these business to continue to exist. They should be paid for the care provided. Should your doctor your nurse work for free.
January 7, 2025 at 5:00 PM
Also, Medicare only covers 80% of care, which does not solve the outstanding balance problem. Services need to be paid to everybody who performed the service work for free
January 7, 2025 at 4:55 PM
Those not help these practices going out of business since medicare payment have not increased payments in 10 years.
January 7, 2025 at 4:53 PM
What is your solution for the small practices owed that money who have not been paid for services rendered.
January 7, 2025 at 4:49 PM
Agreed, they have not increased in 10 years, and sequestration on top of that
December 11, 2024 at 9:38 AM
And what’s your solution for all the small practices of signal providers? They don’t get paid for a service rendered; if insurance applies it to their deductible, the patient does not pay. The cost of doing business with medicare reimbursement has not increased in 10 years
December 7, 2024 at 10:43 PM
I find the litigation argument questionable. It’s easy to blame it on a percentage of litigation, but if Florida is responsible for a large amount claims it is not surprising there are a lot of lawsuits.
December 1, 2024 at 11:43 PM
We can not fix the problem of unaffordable care by prevent a small 1 provider practice from ensure patients pay there bills.
June 14, 2024 at 1:06 PM
If you call a local plumber to fix a emergency issue on your home and fail to pay they are allowed to put a lean on your house. The way medicine is setup it’s a business like any other and we should have the ability to function like a business.
June 14, 2024 at 1:04 PM
Why should a small medical practice who take all the risk of a patient not paying a deductible or a copay at the time of a visit not be able to collect what is owed them. We already have not gotten a payment increase from Medicare in 10 years and now it’s fair our customer not to pay for services

It nice for reading docs and annotating. I really like it. Would even use it for note taking if I had the newer version with the keyboard attachment. Nice it limits your options so you can focus.
