We received an email from our HQ concerning, ironically enough, a reminder of OPSEC practices now that we're returned to office. That email told us about the auto forwarding, and instructed us to keep bullets brief and light on specific details.

For my agency, the email address we send to is auto forwarding all emails it receives. No one knows where to. We've been warned to keep things vague and brief. I can trust my immediate superiors, but I have absolutely zero faith or trust in anyone above them in my chain of command.

Also, your ability to receive unemployment is drastically reduced when you voluntarily resign versus being forcefully terminated. Accepting the resignation gains you nothing and puts you in a position to lose everything. Share with your federal teams, keep talking, and hold the line.

Admin leave after you transition your duties, without having to RTO. That 7 months is not guaranteed, they can and will separate you sooner. Worst case, all you receive is a reprieve from the RTO mandate while putting your neck on a chopping block and you don't know when the axe will fall. (cont.)
