It's really jarring how I seem to progress the most when I'm absolutely pissed at Tekken.
I started this month with a promotion to Tekken God, and I'm ending it with a promotion to Tekken God Supreme.

i was so excited for nightreign, tons of people were talking with me about how they wanted to play it with me -- release comes and silence. game is super frustrating solo and now i'm mad i've played more than 2 hrs trying to find some enjoyment out of it so i can't even refund it

i went 3-2 while hungover as shit, turns out im actually still kind of okay at this game
seriously considering just not showing up to my Tekken pool at evo, this game sucks.

Tekken 8 feels better, though it still feels a little too "hold this mix lol" for a Tekken game at times. So many animations feel very staggered and designed to make you think they're punishable but aren't, into giant counter-hit launchers.
Very difficult to play this game intuitively.

i do not know what is going on but i am getting CONSISTENTLY bad connections in t8 ranked. like, every game is 2-3 rollback frames and 100+ ping.
it isn't my internet. i have gigabit fiber, and i play on potato settings because the pc port is crap.
i wish playing this game at home wasn't miserable

i've been properly lifting regularly (3x a week) the first time in my life and got to a 135lb bench WAAAAAY faster than i anticipated

i haven't had fun playing tekken 8 for months, i think im done until season 2's patch notes get announced, and if they lean into aggression even more i think i'm done with the title entirely

i don't care if the esports gets more boring, Tekken 8 needs to tone down the constant offense in season 2.
it's silly that players with less than 60 defense can get to Tekken King. heat wins you neutral for the entire duration of it, and panic buttons are too good. feels like a 1P game sometimes.
