Earlier today some Gunzels were talking about the need for a next generation V/Line fleet, something other than the V/Locity. It’s got me thinking about some of the least vs some of the most comfortable rides I’ve had on a train, various V/Locity seats vs the old Amtrak Amfleet.

'Princeland Freight Rail Project' is what my brain demanded today. Linking the Yelta and Hopetoun lines, Hopetoun and Western at Dooen, with a new link from Horsham to Hamilton west of the Grampians. This features in the background of a story I've been writing.
