I also helped a faculty member who was searching for the full text of some AI-generated citations. I asked where she had gotten them. She said they were in the bibliography for a training she had attended.

I'm a librarian and often have to tell a student that the article they found does not exist. The latest horror I have discovered is searching for the AI generated article on Google Scholar and finding that it had already been cited multiple times in other peer reviewed articles.
