Spent the afternoon in Gardiner, NY yesterday at a “Stop the Cuts” protest. 400+ people showed up and Congressman Pat Ryan stopped by for a bit. No DeNiro though (he has a home in Gardiner).

We saw Jill Sobule open for The Fixx a few years ago and really enjoyed her set. Going to see the same lineup at the same venue in April. And... she's playing at a small venue just up the road from our house the week before, playing songs from her Off-Broadway show - "F**k the 7th Grade".
