Gonna bet it now Superman II opens with Lex Luthor winning a Presidential election after being acquitted of all charges. A bit on the nose but yeah it fits.

The Pa Kent scene made me cry. The Jimmy Olsen bits made me laugh. Really just a well balanced, wholesome super hero movie with a solid vision and decisive message.

They really nailed the casting. Clark and Lois are perfect (such chemistry!) and the surrounding cast just feels right. Green Lantern is such a jerk, Hawk Girl is a menace, Mr Terrific is well just that, and Luthor steals the show as a cunning and charismatic villain. Krypto is also a menace.

While it’ll probably still go over some people’s heads, the movie kinda bashes you over the head with a decidedly pro-human, anti-war message. Maybe profiting off war is bad, you know?

I think the problem with pricing this subscription is a lot of Steam users already have dozens of games, and often pick up more for a few dollars every Steam sale. I think Valve would be better off focusing on that, and maybe offering existing subscription services with a more limited catalog.

Yeah I get that. Jump from a 1070 to a 4080 a couple years ago was massive. Imagine it’ll be 70 series before I’d get that big a jump again.

100%, it’s perfectly fine for most people. Even a 2080 is likely okay, just have to watch VRAM usage.

Every day people will be impacted most by all this. Lack of income, stability, healthcare, essentials, and even hobbies, it’s just all so depressing. We took a major loss and I don’t see how we come back from this in 4 years, let alone 40. The bad guys won and half of us don’t even see it.
