More birdwatching with Persi on the north branch today.
View of the north branch of the Chicago river in the background. There's lots of very full foliage along the opposite bank. Theres a group of ducks and ducklings swimming in the river. In the foreground you can see an orange cat, Persi, in a green floral harness sitting on old concrete staring intently at the ducks. One mallard in the middle of the photo is illuminated by a patch of sunlight.

I took Persi out to see the herons. 10/10 success despite his face in the second pic.
In the foreground is the clear dome of a cat backpack. My orange cat Persi is inside but only the back of his head is visible. He's staring intently at a heron perched on a rock, there are several craggy river rocks in between the rushing river water. An orange cat with huge green eyes looks excited and slightly nervous as he stares out of the window of a cat backpack. The backpack is also green, it matches his eyes and the trees behind us. You can see my bespectacled face smiling just above the top of the pack.

Just the sweetest.
Once again it's my orange cat Persi being sweet. He's curled up and pawing at my forearm. You can see my arm with some tattoos, the most important and pertinent one says "stay soft" there's also a little Calder mobile and a dog drawn by David berman. Every aspect of this picture is important but mostly the cat.

I walked home through the park last night and thought it was snowing. Turns out it was a giant bird cleaning itself after eating a very tiny bird and tossing little feathers everywhere
