2in wide flex posts placed every 10ft are blocking views into store windows? I'd love to see an example of where this is a problem.
By this logic, I guess the mayor supports removing street parking anywhere there is retail? Certainly cars impede pedestrian views more than flex posts.

Diverters don't make a street inaccessible to cars. They make it harder to use as a cut through. Nobody loses car access.
The street in question is supposed to be a preferred route for biking. Fewer cars on the street would make it more attractive for bikers of all ages.

Exactly the reason for limiting access to this types of motorized vehicles in our neighborhoods.

Even without free transit, fares are still subsidized to make it accessible. It's reasonable to do the same for bikes.
