She could have have taken the opportunity to express support for Mamdani while acknowledging she can’t vote for him but she didn’t, in that really obvious politician-dodging-the-question sort of way like almost every other mainstream Dem that is asked about their candidate

I have no hope for the old guard Dems to change their tune. When Trump comes down on NYC like a ton of bricks Mamdani won’t even receive symbolic support from Dem leadership because they don’t want him/his policies to be successful either. Its going to be a UK Labour/Corbyn situation all over again

As galling as this is Santos is such a cartoonish wildcard I have high hopes of this backfiring somehow, like when he pardoned all the J6ers and then one got killed by a cop at a traffic stop the next day
But it'll be more of a "HAHA" kind of thing rather than a *turns to camera* kind of thing
