The slack for the WGI group I’m in is wild because the director is transposing the fight song for our local NFL team/the team most of our staff is on the drumline for into wind parts and I told him that you can just pretend alto sax and trombone are the same and his mind was so blown

2) “you talk like a proper adult, you don’t stop and say ummmm or uhhhhhh you just talk like you know what you’re saying and why you’re saying it” -my grandpa

Front techs are so weird (one of them showed up in like 1/3 hazmat suit (mask, glasses, triple layered gloves, face shield) and another show up 1/2 an hour late with a full three piece tuxedo on (this is also the first time either of them have been in for a full month) and both refused to comment)

ABA therapy is conversion therapy for autistic people. Both operate with the same goal in mind: to get the people being “treated” to behave “normally” so as to make others comfortable.
This is gross and offensive on every single level.

Practice is almost over and it’s been so great! (My foot got hit by my synth cart really hard and if it’s possible to sprain a heel I did that and also my heart rate was 217 according to my friends watch but I am currently having “marimba learning time” aka when I get to sit on the floor so it’s ok)
