Work encouraging Intergenerational mission, worship and community
Create “Stories of Hope Wall”
Gather stories of hope from across all generations.
Set out sticky notes, index cards, or a QR code to a digital board. Invite kids, teens, adults, & seniors to share a short story or drawing of someone in the church who gave them hope. Display this in a shared space.

Trust Makes Space for Hope. Andy Jung reminds us that trust opens the door 4 hope to slip in like morning light. Think of the saints who carried the church faithfully & the young dreamers eager for what’s next. When we see each other with fresh eyes, hope grows. Who shaped your faith by showing up?

Wednesday Wondering:
Isaiah 64:1 — “Oh, that You would tear open the heavens…”
As Advent begins, where are we seeing tiny signs of God breaking in — even in illness, waiting, or weariness?
And where are we still hoping for heaven to tear open next? Who can we ask to "come and see"?

This Advent, I’m posting weekly devotions inspired by Andy Jung, helping all generations grow in trust and journey toward Christmas with hope & love.
Each week, you’ll find a short reflection, Scripture, questions, an intergenerational activity, & a prayer—simple ways to journey through Advent

Jesus never turned away the hurting or the uncertain. He welcomed before He corrected, loved before He taught, and noticed those that everyone else overlooked. If the church is to reflect Him, love must be our first language.

A short theological reflection.

A few years back, when I was a church youth worker, those little WWJD wristbands were everywhere. What Would Jesus Do? was the question they posed—simple yet profound.

So as we move forward I’m hopeful that humankind will continue to innovate and deal with the world changes.

Today,Christmas Eve, I’ve been told that I and the team I was working with have restored someone’s faith in humanity. Which is an amazing compliment. What did we do?

Simply offered someone a hot drink and a mince pie, as they were visiting the grave of a loved one.

A lot of effort goes into preparing for Christmas: putting up trees and decorations, buying food and presents. But am I putting the same effort into preparing myself to meet with Jesus? @lectio366

Great start to the morning. Today I’ll be sharing some thoughts on the theme #hushthenoise from @MethodistGB

So today I’ve been thinking and planning some talks around the theme #hushthenoise part of the @methodist.org.uk advent season.
How can we hear the angels sing, when the world seems to be screaming at us.
I did get out for a short bike ride, and captured this photo on my way.
