I think it'll land. This will definitely find its audience when they're ready; I also believe that anyone who appreciates the artfulness of your drawings will be an audience that'll embrace bizarre tonal shifts. It'll definitely be more "wow, I wonder where this

So the book isn't credited in the film? From what I remember it was just kind of a loose inspiration; the book goes pretty deep into how dragons would work but there's not really a narrative. It is interesting the connection wouldn't be credited....
