And on to the music front … been playing in bands since high school … bass guitar and singing backing vocals is another of my great passions. Recording, playing shows, and creating a sonic soundscape out of nothing with friends and fellow musicians is simply magical.

Next up … Storm chasing … I absolutely love being in the middle of a blizzard up on Donner Pass in the Sierras. My son is a reporter for Live Storms Media and some of our best father and son moments happen at the pass with 70 mph winds and blinding snow!
