I sent in a call to the committee just now, and let them know that the way the committee handled the meeting was unacceptable, and demanded that these bills receive additional scrutiny via more meetings

it all boils down to their weird feeling of ownership over children. these parents don’t want their children exposed to alternative ways of growing up that aren’t “pretend to be cishet, chain yourself to the idea of the nuclear family & waste your life toiling under capitalism, then die”.
