So, about the name... For now, we’re calling this pistol “Mender.”

Here are some details: "Mender" uses Anomaly Essence as its ammo. It transforms the essence into a kind of “yellow fluid” that can be used for healing.

Working with LOYAL on a new healing animation. Also, we still don’t know what to call that pistol. For now, we’ve been calling it the “Heal-Pistol,” but I’d like something like the “Evoker” from Persona 3. Any ideas???

I finally managed to put together a bit of gameplay for my game. I also added an effect that plays when the player takes damage. I like this effect, and it wasn’t difficult to create at all.

In my previous post, I showcased an early blockout of a location for Daisen. Today, I ran some tests using placeholder bots and tried out a small portion of the gameplay loop to see how it all feels in motion.

Still early, but things are shaping up nicely.

I'm also level designer on my team. Here's an early attempt at creating a night-time mansion arena. The level is built as a loop — every room connects to another, so the player is never truly safe, but also has a chance to escape.
