Great grandmother to 6, grandmother to 8, mother of three dual citizens of USA/Costa Rica. The two youngest generations are all eligible to be and recognized as US citizens or born as Costa Rican. I love humanity and fear for its future.

By country as well, if the Costa Rican revolutionary who became President had not had a wife from the USA to influence his government, universal suffrage for women would not have been included. It took a few more years for equal rights for the Afro-roots population of the Caribbean coast.
