The Iraquis expected us to show up with post-WWII-esque infrastructure, resources, and support. They thought we would help them rebuild and support a democracy. Unfortunately, if we ever were that country, we sure as heck aren't now and haven't been for most of my lifetime.

We may not all be MAGA but we we benefit from the systems that puts white people front and center. Although we may not have signed onto the agenda of white supremacy, we benefit from its existence and are the least harmed by it. You as a white person may not do the things, but us as a group, do.
