We are using steam deck but with 2D only and it's very smooth for now. We just had to be careful with particles !
Just be carefull with the screen resolution (that somehow made 2D screen movement very slow) and if you're using Godot Steam use the 480 appid to test with the devtool.

Really sad to say it like this, but yeah—the less time you have, the less you play.
However, even game devs need breaks, comfort time (And if you don’t, please do! Taking care of yourself is so important ❤️)
So, it’s difficult, but it’s still possible to market to other game devs.
