Our first new product is the excellent one-and-only official (no imitation) OwlCat 4" dome. These domes, contraty to 95% of all domes out there, are not blown from a flat acrylic sheet, but are injection moulded in a perfect hemispherical shape with more than 95% transparency and below 0,16% optical distortion.

Since many of you like to tinker and create their own housings for their allsky setups, we've been asked to share STEP files of our products. These STEP files can be imported into most 3D design programs. You will be able to design your enclosure around the SkyCamOne HATs, dew heaters and temp-hum sensor. We are delighted to be able to tell you that we are adding two new products to our store. Two products that are indispensible for nearly every allsky camera. 1/2" 1.55mm F2.0 5MP CS mount fisheye lens IP68 RJ45 CAT6 Waterproof Panel Ethernet Connector This is the perfect allsky lens for most allsky cameras and specially apt for 1/2" sensor size cameras.

So, last week we discovered a design flaw in our SkyCamOne HATs for Raspberry Pi 4B. The flaw is in the buck converter circuit where we convert the incoming power from PoE or 12 volts in into 5 volts. These 5 volts are used to power your Raspberry and the dew heater for instance, but also go towards the stepper motors and servos.

I am writing this to inform you that we have a fabrication issue with all of our dew heaters. DO NOT USE your dew heater! Do not connect it to your HAT and fire it up! It appears that the resistors used on these dew heaters are no where near the value that they should have and it is like attaching a cable loop to your HAT (a short-circuit, really).

In order for your experience with your Titan Astro SkyCamOne HAT to be as good as it can be, we've tried to simplify the installation and configuration. This Titan Astro sensor board is based on the famous Sensirion SHT31-D sensor, providing humidity, temperature and pressure readings via I2C (QWIIC) to the SkyCamOne HAT. We've designed this extra small breakout board so it can be easily fixed with a screw or clip. We've placed the sensor in a thin section of the board on purpose, so you can stick it through an as small as possible hole into your camera dome.
