We need someone like you in the party. Someone who won't blindly support the party. Someone who will bring different perspectives, yet still fight for what's right in the country.

I understand both viewpoints. Bill is coming at it from the perspective that you're not changing anyone's mind by refusing to engage. But I certainly believe that Trump is the enemy and it's not right to normalize him. It's certainly a nuanced situation.
