I have literally written a page on how the omegaverse works in this au, and another on how diluc acts with all the kids in the orphanage (like jean&barb, fischl, bennett, etc.) but I just can't bring myself to Start!!! so I just continue thinking about all the cool chapters there could be...

it'll be an orphanage au, where diluc is the oldest there, has been living there all his life, so he's acting like Mother to all the other children, which - oh boy does it take kaeya off his feet!
yes it's also an omegaverse and there's age gap (like 23x17 kaeluc (not explicit)) so I am indulging :)

genshin does not know what it did to my brain when it made bby diluc a literal sunshine child... who gave him depression!!! bby kaeya can both be the shy-est boy you know or the most possessive boy ever, but I do think that only came after he grew a crush on diluc (so like 2 months after meeting)
